Snowbound Kit Kyndall Kit Tunstall 9781793048066 Books Reviews

  • Short, sweet, sexy and satisfying. Not exactly a May-December pairing, but there's an age difference among other obstacles to be overcome on the way to HEA. Lovely smooth narrative and believable dialogue. Kit Kyndall never disappoints.
  • I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.

I this book we meet Reed Nixon and Beth Wyndam. Beth and her father have never really had the best relationship. So she decides to join him on his documentary trip up to Alaska. Her father is less than thrilled that she is coming but agrees to meet her there. Upon meeting Reed she realizes her guide is a rough man that might just have a marshmallow center. She also realizes no matter how gruff he might actually be there is a part of her that is drawn to this man. Can she get him to see her as more than just a young girl and the daughter of his latest client or will she loose out on a shot with the only man who makes her tingle?

Reed sees this beautiful woman get off the airplane instead of his latest client. He never expected a woman for one and for two he never thought he would be so attracted to her. Reed knows if he can just make it a couple of days this rich girl will be her daddy's problem. If only fate worked in his favor. Just when he thinks he will get back up from her father a large storm rolls in and it is just the two of them all over again. Can he learn to get over his issues and see the woman that is in his home or will he miss out on his possible once in a lifetime?

This is a great short story about finding something or someone special when you least expect it. There are many twists and turns in this book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
  • It was supposed to be a surprise. She met Reed who is the owner of the wilderness tour facility her father has hired to use while he films his documentary. Reed is 33 to her 18 and feels like a dirty old man . She doesn't think in terms of numbers and is determined to have him . He resists she keeps pushing not to hard but she won't give up. The battle is even tougher when they are snowed in together . He resisting She persisting . Finally, breakthrough they've become lovers . But even though she got what she wanted it's not everything and you will have to read the book to get the HEA 5 star ending .
  • Reed lives in Alaska and runs a tour business. He enjoys the isolation of Alaska and being self-sufficient. Right now he only lacks 2 things, a working coffee maker and a woman. Imagine his surprise when a plane drops of Beth a day early for his next trip. Beth is gorgeous and barely legal. Her dad is rich producer but he was a horrible dad. Beth came up early to spend time with her father but he sent her on ahead.. When she sees Reed, she is instantly attracted. She hopes she can seduce the older man into an affair. The weather seems to co-operate since a weather front has moved in and they are snowbound for days. After a lot of trying, she does convince Reed that their being together will be fun and just a fling. Beth enjoys her time with Reed and wishes for more but she will keep her promise of just having a fling. When she leaves Alaska, she has more than she came with. Reed at first thought Beth was spoiled and a city brat. Over time he gets to see the real Beth and starts to have feelings for her but he knows the city girl would not be happy in the middle of nowhere.
This is a good steamy book. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
  • I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book. Beth shows up in Alaska to surprise her father and gets there a day early. When Reed goes to the airport, he is surprised that the group he was going to pick up is arriving a day early but in fact the only person arriving is a petite woman and Reed is so confused, is she the group he thought was coming and was Wyndham a woman, he thought it was a man. Beth came out of the plane, down the steps to greet Reed who just stood and stared at her. He was gruff with her because his coffee pot broke that morning and he usually had his caffeine for the day before anything else happened. He took her with him to the cabin where he hosted groups for all kinds of things in Alaska but was pretty silent on the way there. He found out that the rest of the group would be arriving the next day so what was he going to do with her until then. Lets just say he was not a happy camper at all. Then unfortunately a big snow storm blew in trapping them for days before they could get out. What happened between the two of them in those days you will have to read to find out but did they talk, did they avoid each other, what did happen and was it good, did they get along. Reed was a loner but could Beth get him to come out of his shell for her, the ending is really good.
  • This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This romance is one that you would not expect; Reed is 15 years older, just breaking even financially, and only has his GED, while Beth comes from an affluent family, went to a private school, and she is a virgin.

Beth falls for Reed right away but he was reluctant to get involved with her because she was so young, and even more so when he found out that she was a virgin.

I loved that Reed was willing to give up his life in Alaska to be with Beth and their baby. Lots of great things tied up at the end of the book so I loved the HEA.
