• The quality level of these books is so good. You have to stretch the spine properly but they read really well and the large format and recoloring make it easier on the eyes. I recommend the Absolutes heavily if you love this series and have the money to invest in at least the first four books, which contains the full 75 issue run. Enjoy.
• These books and stories are outstanding. I came back to comics after a 30 year absence. I obtained the acknowledged masters. Sandman stands above the rest in my opinion as groundbreaking literature that is enhanced by the graphic novel format. I also like the black panther, green lantern (blackest night), spawn, and Chew.
• I always love Mr Gaiman;'s work. Sandman is probably his opus given the size and the eclectic nature of the themes. The Endless as interpreted by a Master like Gaiman represent an amazing world that weaves the deepest recesses of the collective consciousness, mythology, history and keep it living enough to be interesting. Aesthetically, the books are great and the artwork is just as eclectic as the are the themes. I wish I was exposed to this stuff as a kid...
• The quality of the book did not disappoint at all. it had that wonderful new book smell and all the pages crisp. As far as the content goes, though I am no expert and read just for fun, I thoroughly enjoyed this volume just as I did the first one. I love this series so far and I don't plan to stop reading them until I am done.

• I just picked up the book and already its binding is falling apart. The glue used to seal / hold the binding together is simply not strong enough for a book this thick and heavy; opening the book to read is sufficient to cause the glue binding to split apart. Horrible quality for something that certainly isn't cheap! Unless you're a great fan of The Sandman with lots of cash, it's probably wiser to buy the paperbacks instead.333
• Gifted this to a brother in law-- he's thrilled and into this collection. Not much I can say because I really do not know what it is about.
• This is, by far, the best way to enjoy the story of Sandman. If you are just now getting into the story, or a long-time fan, buy these books.
